This was 9 years before the event of Clock Tower: The First Fear.
Jennifer Simpson was 5 years old when her father, Walter Simpson went to the Barrows Mansion to assist the birth of the twins.
Bobby and Dan Barrows.
But He never returned home.
I think it's implied that Jennifer's mother believed that Walter had just abandoned her and their daughter.
Soon after Walter's disappearance, she died(possibly from grief).
With no one to look after her Jennifer was sent to the Granite Orphanage.
Jennifer would soon find out what happened to her father....
