Kazuki and Rei

Kazuki Nakahara(formerly Hino) is the son of Takashi Hino from his first marriage.

When he was three, His father abandoned him and his mother Keiko to pursue a career in politics.

Afterwards The mother and son moved from Tokyo to the rice paddy farm in Sawara, Chiba. There Keiko married Masayoshia Nakahara,
a humble and widowed farmer who has two sons of his own.

Masayoshia adopted Kazuki as his own.

After Kazuki turned six years old, he began to developed a unique psychic abilities and as he grew up it had manifested itself.

He could read people's thoughts and could see into the past, present and future. Yet he kept it a secret from his mother,
his stepfather, his friends, and his two step brothers.

Also he swore to himself that he will use his very special gift, bestowed upon him only for good.

At age nineteen, he returned to Tokyo to visit his grandfather Tomomichi Hino, a Shinto priest who worked and lived at the Hikawa Shrine.

There he met his grandfather, and discovered that he has a younger half-sister, Rei Hino.

But when he introduced himself to her and revealed himself to be her half-brother, Rei was even more upset then before as she really hated men.

She angary told Kazuki off for not only being a man, but for also showing his face here and for being the son of a vain, selfish,
fame-loving, power-hungry politician.

During her harsh words to him, Kazuki saw the pain and suffering that his little sister went through.

In her past, Rei was a young child while she sat next to her mother Risa, who was Takashi's second wife and Kazuki's stepmother whom
he never got to meet, laid on the bed at the hospital Takashi never came to see her as she died.

Even worse, He never did he come to her funeral where Rei alone attended.

Also there was a young man named Kaidou who was Takashi's young secretary and Rei's friend. Rei loved him but Kaidou left her to
marry another girl and to become politician.

While Rei stormed off into her room, Tomomichi Hino explained that Rei didn't really mean what she said and told him that
it is best to leave her alone for awhile...

Kazuki sadly agreed, saying that it was not her words that broke his heart, it's about what she went through.

Leaving the Shrine, the young man swore silently that he will protect her from anymore emotional harm, and from Takashi,
even if Rei refused to acknowledge and accept him as her brother.

Kazuki greatly admired his sister's special powers that were similar to his, and knows that she is Sailor Senshi,
Sailor Mars.

But for her sake kept it a secret.

Kazuki met with Rei's friends,  Serena Tsukino(Sailor Moon), Amy Mizuno(Sailor Mercury), Lita Kino(Sailor Jupiter), and, Mina Aino(Sailor Venus).

And Darien Shields(Tuxedo Mask).

They were all shocked to hear that He's Rei's half-brother. but Kazuki warned them not to tell Rei about their meeting as it would anger her.

Then one day, Rei was injured while she fought along with the senshi as the battled a monster sent by the Dark moon kingdom.

She was comatosed in the hospital room when Kazuki came in and bribed the nurses and doctors to keep their silence about Rei
being hurt and her whereabouts.

The young man stayed at his sister's bedside, not leaving her.

He called his grandfather to come over to the hospital.

Even the senshi came to visit her each day.

They all prayed for her full recovery.

When Rei awoke, she was surprised to see her brother at her bedside, even though she said those horrible
things to him when they first met.

He explained to her that he is nothing like Takashi and that he knew very well what it was like to be abandoned.

She apologized for her behavior towards him, and welcomed him to come visit anytime he wanted to.

Kazuki smiled and told Rei about his unique psychic powers similar to hers, and told her about his family and would be very happy to take her
with him to his family home at the rice paddy farm.

Rei greatly accepted the offer and accepted him as her brother, thus finally stopped hating men and conquering her demons.
