Since According to Mass Effect wiki, that he was Earth Born. i would guess that he was a member of the 10th Street Reds as the group were
a a bunch of xenophobes

It just occurred to me.
Any character with little or no info of their origins are a real mystery to fans(including me).
It's ether because the person who created a character could only come up with very little ideas or simply coulden't come up with it at all.
Or maybe that people only left little or no info about the character to encourage fans to use their head canons to make their own versions
of the character's background.
